Sited adjacent to its Garden Residence project, Mah Sing bought this piece of prime freehold land for about RM51.6 million early last month to build two- and three-storey semi-detached homes. The indicative pricing for a two-storey semi-detached unit, with land size of 40ft by 80ft and built up of approximately 3,076 sq ft, is about RM1.29 million while a threestorey semi-detached, with built up of about 3,683 sq ft, i5 about RM1.44 million.
The gross development valu (GDV) for Clover@Garden Residence is estimated at RM280 million. Mah Sings plans for this exclusive enclave are still very much at the preliminary stage as the plans are being submitted to the relevant authorities for approval. With this latest acquisition, Garden Residence's total land size will now be enlarged to about 60.6ha.
A project of such size will typically take between three and five years to complete. Judging by the strong response, Mah Sing's group managing director and group chief executive, Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum, had indicated that the developer would have to bring forward our launches".
